Cost Report Enhancements

What It Is

The Cost Report now includes additional columns that provide visibility into scheduled shift times and the difference between scheduled and actual worked hours.

These new fields help organizations compare what was planned versus what actually occurred during a shift.

Why This Feature Matters

Understanding the difference between scheduled and worked hours can help identify attendance issues, overtime trends, and labor cost variances.

This helps:

✅ Compare scheduled hours to actual worked hours

✅ Identify late arrivals and early departures

✅ Improve labor cost reporting

✅ Increase visibility into workforce performance

✅ Support payroll and operational reviews

New Cost Report Columns

Shift Start Time

Displays the scheduled shift start time from the order.

This is different from the existing Start Time column, which displays the worker's actual check-in time.

Shift End Time

Displays the scheduled shift end time from the order.

This is different from the existing End Time column, which displays the worker's actual check-out time.

Hours Difference

Displays the difference between:

  • Scheduled hours requested
  • Actual hours worked

This allows organizations to quickly see whether a worker worked more or fewer hours than originally scheduled.

How It Works

The Cost Report now includes both scheduled and actual shift information:

Field Description
Shift Start Time Scheduled start time from the order
Start Time Actual worker check-in time
Shift End Time Scheduled end time from the order
End Time Actual worker check-out time
Hours Difference Difference between scheduled and worked hours

Where to Find It

  1. Navigate to Reports
  2. Open the Cost Report
  3. Generate or export the report

The new columns will appear automatically in the report output.
