๐Ÿš€ Using the Victory App


The Victory app is your main tool for finding, applying to, managing, and completing event gigs.

Hereโ€™s how it works โ€” and what to expect at every step:


Finding & Applying for Gigs

โœ… Notifications

  • Youโ€™ll receive push notifications when new gigs are posted in your selected cities.
  • ๐Ÿ‘‰ Make sure notifications are enabled for the app โ€” you can check this in your phoneโ€™s app settings. If notifications are off, you may miss opportunities.


โœ… If you do not see gigs:

  • Itโ€™s possible we currently do not have gigs posted in your selected cities โ€” keep checking back and keep your notifications on!


โœ… Applying

  • When you tap Apply for a gig, you are simply expressing interest โ€” this does not mean you are hired yet.
  • Your application will show as Pending Manager Approval while our staffing team reviews applicants.

The Hiring Process

โœ… Interview

  • If our team thinks you are a good fit, you will receive a call from a Victory staffing manager for a brief interview about the gig.
  • After the interview, if you are selected, you will be booked for the gig in the app.


โœ… Booking Confirmation

  • When you are booked, youโ€™ll receive:
    • A push notification in the app
    • A gig confirmation in your Gigs tab
  • You must then go into the app and confirm your booking to lock in your spot.


โš ๏ธ Important:

If you do not confirm your booking in the app, your shift is not secured โ€” and we may offer the spot to another worker.


Managing Your Schedule

โœ… View confirmed shifts

  • Go to the Scheduled tab to see all confirmed shifts.


โœ… Managing your availability

  • If you have open availability, you are welcome to apply to any gigs that interest you โ€” but please only apply to gigs that you are fully available and committed to attend.
  • If you apply for a gig but later become unavailable, you can go into the app and uncheck the gig in the Applied tab (withdraw your application).


โœ… Requesting a replacement

  • If you are booked for a shift but can no longer work it, go to the Scheduled tab and submit a replacement request through the app.
  • This helps us quickly find coverage and keeps your record in good standing.

Viewing Event Details

โœ… Available gigs

  • You can view basic job details in the app before applying โ€” such as location, dates, pay, and requirements.


โœ… Booked gigs

  • Once you are booked, you will receive additional gig details in the app:
    • Exact event location and time
    • Contact person at the event
    • Check-in and check-out instructions
    • Uniform or attire guidelines
    • Any required training or pre-event materials


โœ… Training

  • Some gigs require that you complete training in the app before the event.
  • If training is required, you will be notified in the app and can complete it by following the prompts.

Completing Post-Event Recaps

โœ… Recaps

  • Certain gigs require that you complete a recap after your shift (ex: feedback, photos, questions about your event).
  • If a recap is required:
    • Youโ€™ll receive a notification prompting you to complete it in the app.
    • Simply follow the on-screen prompts for that gig.
  • Recaps must be completed promptly โ€” they can be done while you are at the event and available to finish after your event.
